Titled 'The Train' this mural is part of a broader vibrant makeover for the urban pathway in Orlando. It was created as a collaborative public art project between Andrew Reid SHEd and artist Martha Lent. 

The mural stretches along a retaining wall adjacent to the active central Orlando railroad tracks. Modeled to look like a brightly colored passenger train car running alongside the real tracks, each window playfully frame distinct iconic Florida motifs, including a sunbathing alligator, local wildlife, flamingos, and stylized everyday commuters.

Gertrudes Urban Trail was painted in 2019 for the City of Orlando Public Arts.
