The Police mural shows officers both male and female, black and white, along with police dogs, officers at desks, a grinning child doffing an officers cap, and even cops on an airboat – a uniquely Florida form of police transport.
Reid achieved renown as a graphic artist in his native New Zealand and New York before moving to Miami in 1991. Since that time he has explored a variety of media, including painted and carved murals, sculpture and three dimensional wall pieces.
