Portraying 150 elders past and present interacting with students, staff and residents, my goal was to accurately represent Kuiggluk, a Yup'ik eskimo subsistence community on the Yukon Delta of Alaska.
This personally challenging project was the result of two years of research and 5 months working and living in the school thru the summer and fall of 2021.
Commissioned by Lower Kuskokwim School District for Eek School.
